Educational Philosophy : Establishing identity and promoting intergenerational communication and understanding through education of Korean language, culture and history.
Course content : Improvement of Korean reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and education on Korean culture, history, and etiquette.
Special activities : Nanta (drum, janggo), classical dance, calligraphy/Korean painting, children's songs, Taekwondo, art, Gabe (infant/kindergarten)
Teaching Method : Learner-centered and content-centered active learning
Educational Evaluation
Basics: Understanding and Applying Hangul Characters
Beginner and intermediate: Indirect assessment through events such as tests, word contests, dictation contests, and story contests.
Advanced: TOPIK Test and Regular Evaluation

August: Fall semester opening/opening ceremony
September-October: Chuseok Feast
October: Midterm exam, Hangul Day essay contest
November: Korean Olympiad
December: Final exams, end of semester, registration for 2nd semester
January: Spring semester begins
January-February: Lunar New Year Feast
February: Open classes, presentation contests
March: Word Contest, Dictation Contest, Story Contest
April: Children's song contest, spring break
May: Presentation and closing ceremony
