Sunday Offering and Church Dues – Our Thanksgiving and Devotion to God
Sunday offerings and church dues are precious expressions of believers dedicating their hearts to God. These donations are used for the pastoral activities of the parish, facility maintenance, and living expenses of priests and staff, and are an important financial foundation that supports our community. Sunday offerings are an offering of gratitude given when preparing gifts during Mass, and church dues are the church maintenance expenses that families earnestly give every month.
It is generally recommended that you give one-thirtieth of your annual income to the church. This means giving one day of your devotion and income to God each month. Below is a sample calculation:
Household annual income / recommended tuition (annual) / divided by month:
$30,000 / $1,000 / about $83
$50,000 / $1,670 / about $140
$70,000 / $2,330 / about $195
$100,000 / $3,330 / about $278
The key to the church fund is not the amount, but the sincerity. The hearts of each of you who donate consistently and joyfully according to your own circumstances are the greatest strength that supports the parish.
